Guess the mystery soccer player in 8 tries. Each guess reveals clues about the player's club, league, nationality, position, and age. One of 100+ free sports games on DoUKnowBall.

Footle gives you 8 guesses to name a mystery soccer player. Each guess is a real player, and colored tiles compare it to the answer across eight attributes, from club to kit number.

You get eight goes at one mystery player and every guess comes back colour coded: arrows say whether the answer is older, scores more, or wears a higher number. Everyone gets the same new player every day.

How to play Footle

  • Read the tiles: green is an exact match, yellow is close, white is a miss.
  • Follow the arrows: up means the answer's value is higher than your guess.
  • Narrow by continent, league, and position group before sweating exact numbers.
  • Get the name within 8 guesses and share your emoji grid.

  • You get 8 guesses in both daily and unlimited mode.
  • Yellow means close: same continent, same league, within 3 goals, assists, or kit number, within 2 years of age, within 5 million dollars of value, or the same position group.
  • The daily tier is shared: about 40 percent of days are Easy, 55 Hard, 5 Insane.
  • In unlimited mode you choose Easy, Hard, or Insane, and the answer always comes from that tier.

    Open with Jude Bellingham. Club comes back yellow, so the answer is La Liga but not Real Madrid. Position is green, a midfielder, and the age tile points down.

    Young La Liga midfielders scream Barcelona. Pedri turns club green, kit number and goals steer the last step, and Gavi lights the board on guess three.

  • Open with someone you know cold so the arrows mean something.
  • Category tiles carve the pool faster than stats: continent, then league, then position group.
  • Kit number is sneaky useful. A yellow pins the shirt to within 3.
