What counts as a close yellow tile

Yellow means close: same continent, same league, within 3 goals, assists, or kit number, within 2 years of age, within 5 million dollars of value, or the same position group.

Daily difficulty split and unlimited choice

The daily tier is shared: about 40 percent of days are Easy, 55 Hard, 5 Insane.

In unlimited mode you choose Easy, Hard, or Insane, and the answer always comes from that tier.

What are the difficulty tiers?

Easy is the 80 most valuable players in the world right now plus the all-time greats, Hard is squad players at big clubs, Insane is obscure pros from smaller leagues. A banner shows the daily tier before your first guess. Easy goes on market value rather than fame, so a teenager who has not made his name yet can still turn up there.

Can I keep playing after the daily?

Yes, unlimited mode deals endless rounds at any difficulty, and it never touches your daily result.
