🏀PERFECT LINEUP: NBA

Build the best starting five you can, but constrained slots only accept a player from that team or era. Then simulate the game and share your result.

Fill every slot. Constrained slots only accept players matching that tag. 0/5 picked.

Perfect Lineup: NBA Daily Basketball Squad Builder

Perfect Lineup: NBA gives you a starting five where most slots are locked to a specific franchise or era. Pick a real eligible player for every position, then run a simulation that scores your squad on talent and chemistry and turns it into a shareable scoreline.

Five slots, and the game has opinions. Three of them come stamped with a constraint, a franchise or a decade, and only players matching the tag can go there.

The pool is a curated set of greats and current stars, so every pick is good. The puzzle is squeezing the best combination through the constraints while keeping the roster connected.

How to play Perfect Lineup: NBA

  • Check the five slots: PG, SG, SF, PF and C. Three carry a constraint like Lakers or 1990s.
  • Tap a slot and pick from the eligible players. Constrained slots only list players who fit the tag.
  • Fill all five, watching for chemistry links between picks.
  • Hit Simulate for a scoreline, a grade and a chemistry rating.
  • Rules to know

  • Exactly 3 of the 5 slots carry a team or era constraint, and every constraint leaves at least 4 eligible players.
  • Positions flex one step: the PG slot also takes shooting guards, the C slot also takes power forwards.
  • Your final rating is 80 percent player quality and 20 percent chemistry.
  • Chemistry comes from sharing a franchise or an era with at least one other pick.
  • Grades run from A+ at a 92 rating down to D. The daily constraint set is the same for everyone and changes every day.
  • Example walkthrough

Say the center slot demands Lakers and the point guard slot demands 1980s. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar takes center, and Magic Johnson at point becomes a double link: same team, same decade.

Two modern wings and a 90s power forward round it out. Chemistry lifts a decent roster to an A and a green and yellow emoji row.

    Strategy tips

  • Build around the constraints first. The two free slots fix whatever the tags forced on you.
  • Chase double links. A pick sharing both team and era with a teammate feeds chemistry twice.
  • Do not draft five strangers. A weaker player who connects often beats a loner star.
  • Perfect Lineup: NBA FAQ

Who is in the player pool?

About 66 curated stars across every era, from Magic and Kareem to current MVPs. Not the full history books, which keeps every slot a real decision.

Can I redo my daily lineup?

Yes. After simulating you can edit the same constraint set and run it again, chasing a better grade all day.

    How exact is the scoring?

Your five ratings average into 80 percent of the score, chemistry is the other 20, and the result maps to a grade and a shareable scoreline.

Is Perfect Lineup: NBA free to play?

Yes. Perfect Lineup: NBA is free to play on DoUKnowBall, right in your browser. No download and no signup needed.
