Combat Chain: MMA Fighter Chain Trivia Game

Build the longest chain of MMA fighters by naming someone who defeated the current fighter. Covers UFC, Bellator, and all major promotions.

Fight fans keep receipts. Combat Chain is those receipts turned into a game: name a fighter who beat your current fighter, then a fighter who beat them, building the longest chain of real results you can.

Wins are checked against the game's own record book, and one wrong answer ends the run. No timer, just you and the history of the sport.

Picking a mode to start the chain

Pick a mode: Daily (same start for everyone), Unlimited, Weight Class (one division only), or Hall of Fame (legends only).

Recalling who beat your current fighter

Recall who has actually beaten your current fighter.

Submitting a name for a verified defeat

Submit a name. A verified defeat adds the winner to your chain and hands them the spotlight.

Repeating until you miss or bank it

Repeat until you miss, reuse a fighter, or bank your score with Give Up.

Saving your run for the leaderboard

Save your run with a nickname to enter the top 10 leaderboard.

Each correct link scores 100 points, plus a 50 point bonus when the win came in a championship fight.

Multiplying the total as the chain grows

The total multiplies by 1.5 at a chain of 5 and by 2 at 10.

What a wrong answer reveals

A wrong answer ends the run and reveals a fighter who would have worked.

Weight Class mode's eight divisions

Weight Class mode offers 8 divisions, flyweight through heavyweight.

Who beat Poirier? Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted him in a title fight, and championship wins pay extra: 150 more for 250 total.

Hitting an unbeaten legend's dead end

Now the problem: Khabib retired undefeated, so nobody in the book has beaten him. You cash out at 250. Chaining into an unbeaten legend is a beautiful dead end.

Watch for undefeated walls. A fighter with zero losses ends your chain on the spot.

Fighters are single use per run; don't burn a well connected name early.

Combat Chain FAQ: verified wins, modes and the leaderboard

My answer really did beat that fighter. Why didn't it count?

The game checks its own built-in fight database, not the whole internet. A bout missing from the book won't verify even if it happened.

What's different about Hall of Fame mode?

Your starter and every answer must be one of the game's flagged legends, so valid links get much scarcer.

How do I get on the leaderboard?

Finish a run and enter a nickname. Chains rank by length, with score breaking ties.
