Guess The College: D1 College Sports Quiz
Guess the Division 1 college from progressive clues about their conference, mascot, location, and athletic history. Covers all Power 4 and Group of 5 schools.
Somewhere in Division 1 there is one school the game has in mind, and your job is to name it before the clues run out. You start with a single vibe word and end, if it goes badly, at the school colors.
Guess early and look like a savant, or ride to clue 11 and scrape out 100 points.

Guess The College walkthrough: an SEC clue leads to LSU
Working through the SEC clue to LSU
You skip the early clues. Clue 5 says SEC, so you swing on Georgia. Red. Clue 6 is basketball history, skip. Then clue 7 counts four poll era football titles and talks up the 2019 team and it clicks: LSU.
Five hundred points for a clean save
The card flips: 500 points for solving on clue 7, plus a fun fact about the school. Not the hero guess, but a clean save.
Guess The College tips for reading clues and saving points
Guessing on a hunch instead of skipping
Never skip when you have a hunch. A guess costs the same clue and might just be right.
The conference clue as the pivot point
Clue 5, the conference, is the pivot. Run the whole league in your head before the points drop again.
Letting school colors settle it at the end
Still alive at clue 11? Colors settle it. Crimson and cream is not scarlet and gray.
