Yellow means close: one weight class off, same continent, within 2 years on age or career length, 3 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw, 3 knockouts or 2 submissions.

Daily progress is saved through the day and a new fighter arrives at midnight Eastern.

From their date of birth, on the day you play, so it is always their age today. Years active runs from their first UFC fight to their latest one.

If I close the tab mid-puzzle, do I lose my guesses?

No. Progress is stored on your device for the day; the puzzle resets at midnight Eastern.
