Draft your ultimate soccer squad against an AI opponent. Pick 11 players in a snake draft, then simulate a full season to see who built the better team.

You and an AI rival take turns raiding one player pool until you have each drafted a full XI. Then a season is simulated, both squads get dissected, and the community votes on who built better.

The wrinkle is the daily criteria: one squad building rule per day, and it is enforced, not decorative. Picks that break it are blocked for you and the AI alike.

How to play Fantasy Draft

  • Read today's criteria first. It shapes the whole draft.
  • Draft snake style: 22 alternating picks, with a coin flip deciding who starts.
  • Cover every position, goalkeeper included.
  • At 11 apiece, hit Simulate Season for the story of each team's year.
  • Read the strengths and weaknesses report, then vote for the winner.

  • Both sides draft 11 players from one shared pool, so a taken player is gone for both.
  • Rules come with exact numbers: Under 25s, a 1 billion pound squad cap, One Nation (max 3 per country), Bargain Hunt (60 million or less each), Wonderkids (outfielders 21 or under), or Galacticos (outfielders 80 million plus).
  • Illegal picks are blocked with the reason shown, relaxing only when no legal option remains.
  • Voting requires signing in, so nobody stuffs the ballot.

    The rule is Under 25s, so your 27 year old superstar opener dies on contact: blocked. Round one becomes a wonderkid land grab, and the AI, which leans expensive, snaps up the priciest young forward on the board.

    You counter with a young keeper, because the AI leaves goalkeepers late. By pick 22 both rosters are packed with kids, and the vote breaks your way.

    Strategy tips

  • Draft against the AI's taste: it chases market value, so grab the cheap positional glue it ignores.
  • Under a budget cap, one megastar eats a third of your money. Spread it.
  • Scarcity beats stardom mid draft. Two keepers left is a pick, not a luxury.
  • The AI picks in about 2 seconds, so keep a shortlist ready for every position.

    Who decides the winner?

    The community. After the season stories and analysis, players vote for the squad they rate higher, and the totals are shown. One vote per signed in account.

    Does the criteria change?

    Yes, a fresh rule arrives each day, spanning age caps, budget caps, price floors, and nationality limits. Both sides live under it.

    Can the AI cheat the rule?

    No, its picks pass the same legality check as yours. It relaxes for either side only when the pool has no legal option left, so every draft can finish.
